Mrs. G INDIRA K REDDY hails from Nellore District located in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Her early life was spent in Nellore where she did her high School and later graduated with a degree in Science. She attended the Owner President Management Programme with Harvard University during the period 1997 to 1999.
Mrs. Indira Reddy started her career with M/s Orbit Travels & Tours as the Managing Director of the Company. Later on she moved as the Managing Director of M/s Novopan Industries Limited, a Company which manufactured Plain and Laminated Particle Boards with Swiss Collaboration.
In the year 1999, GVK Hotels & Resorts Ltd., which took care of the Hospitality sector of the Group, signed a strategic alliance with IHCL, the TAJ Brand, and Mrs. Indira Reddy once again took charge as the Managing Director of TAJ GVK Hotels & Resorts Limited. As the Managing Director, Mrs. Indira Reddy directs the Company’s Operations, sets long term market strategy and oversees the development of new projects. She takes keen interest in the corporate strategy and investments of the Group. TAJ GVK presently manages six Five Star Luxury & Business Hotels across Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Chennai. Further the Company is also setting up the Ginger Brand of Hotels across Andhra Pradesh to cater to the value segment. Work has also commenced for building new five star hotels at the airport complex in Mumbai and Bangalore.
Mrs. Indira Reddy has keen interest in Interior Design and plays a major role in establishing the various properties of the Group.
